How to use it

Choose a raga and your Sa, switch on the drone, and play the aroha and avaroha. Sing along with each swara as it lights up. Listen for the vadi and samvadi, the raga's most important notes, and notice how the same swaras can feel completely different from one raga to the next.

These are widely taught versions. Gharanas and teachers differ in phrases and emphasis, so always follow your teacher.
