Our monthly Jam'In sessions are the heartbeat of student life at Prism. A space to unwind, experiment and sync up with others through pure, unfiltered music. No stage pressure. Just expression, energy and endless possibilities.
What happens at a Jam'In
Lessons teach you to play. Jam'In teaches you to play with others.
Once a month, Prism students put down the lesson book and play together: new songs, new line-ups and plenty of mistakes, in a room where nobody is keeping score. It is where a lot of our students first feel like musicians rather than learners.
Where it fits
Between the practice room and the stage
Weekly lessons build technique. Recitals, at venues like The Piano Man and Hard Rock Cafe, are the big nights. Jam'In sits in between: a regular, low-stakes place to use what you are learning with other people.
For children in our K-12 Programme it is often the first time they play in a group. For teens and adults it is a chance to form bands, try a different instrument, or simply enjoy a night of music with people who love it as much as they do.
Every Prism student can take part, from complete beginners to Grade 8 players, on any instrument or voice.

What is Jam'In?
Jam'In is Prism School of Music's monthly jam session: an informal space where students play together, try new music and build confidence, with no stage pressure.
How often does Jam'In happen?
Every month, at Prism schools.
Who can join Jam'In?
All Prism students, at every level, from beginners to advanced players, on any instrument or voice.
Do I need to be good to jam?
No. Jam'In is designed for every level. Beginners play simple parts alongside more experienced students, and everyone learns from each other.
Is Jam'In a performance or an exam?
Neither. There is no audience to impress and no marking. It sits between weekly lessons and our recitals, as a relaxed place to practise playing with others.
Is there a Jam'In for kids?
Yes. Children in our K-12 Programme take part too, and playing with others is one of the best ways for young learners to grow in confidence.
Where is Jam'In held?
At Prism schools in Gurugram (Sector 38), South Delhi (CR Park) and Faridabad (Sector 10). Ask your Prism school for the next date.
