Harmony and compositionFoundations: notation, scales, key signatures, intervals, triads, diatonic harmony, I-IV-V and Roman numerals.
Music productionDAW and song creation: Logic Pro, MIDI, recording, editing and arrangement. Your first original song exported.
Ear training and performanceEar and instrument: solfège, intervals, triads, rhythmic and melodic dictation, and Grade N on your instrument.

What is the Young Composer Program?

A one-year music composition, production, performance and artist-development course at Prism School of Music: 192 lessons across four terms, two grade levels on your instrument, and three mastered original tracks.

Where is it taught?

At our Delhi (CR Park), Gurugram (Sector 38) and Faridabad (Sector 10) schools.

Which software will I learn?

Logic Pro and Ableton Live, from DAW basics through synthesis, mixing and mastering.

Which exams are included?

Two grade-level exams on your primary instrument across the year, with Trinity College London (Rock & Pop) or ABRSM.

What is the difference between YCP and YC Individual?

YCP is a group cohort with four classes a week. YC Individual is the same architecture taught one-to-one, with a named senior mentor, a solo showcase and a single released on OfMuziq Records.

How much does it cost?

YCP is ₹1,60,000 paid in full, ₹85,000 per half or ₹45,000 per quarter. YC Individual is ₹2,75,000 paid in full or ₹1,45,000 per half, at the introductory 2026/27 rate.
