How harmonic mixing works
Find your track's key on the wheel. Tracks with the same number, one step either side, or the same number in the other ring (switching between minor A and major B) usually blend smoothly. Moving up two or seven steps gives an energy lift.

A is the minor key and B the relative major.
How far can I change tempo?
About 6% up or down usually keeps a track sounding natural.
