Your journey

Your Hindustani vocals roadmap, quarter by quarter

About six months per grade up to Grade 3, then about nine months per grade to Grade 8: around five and three-quarter years for an average student who attends class every week and practises at home two or three times a week. Based on India’s graded Hindustani systems. At our Chittaranjan Park school in New Delhi, your teacher follows this path with you, and you perform at Prism’s recitals and Jam’In along the way. Tap a grade to see what you will learn, and practise each step with our free Music Lab tools.
