Your DJ year, stage by stage
A course of up to a year in four stages of three months each, on controllers and CDJs, across house, techno, hip-hop and Bollywood. Most beginners mix clean, beatmatched transitions by the end of the Foundations stage, about three months in. The full course runs up to a year, in four stages of three months: Foundations, Mixing, Set building and Showcase.
Do I need my own instrument?
Instruments are available at the school for your lessons. For practice at home you will want your own, and your teacher will help you choose one. Prism students also get two practice sessions at the school for every class paid.
Can I take DJ classes online?
Yes. You can learn at the school, online, or a mix of both, and switch between them.
